As President of Environment and Archaeology, LLC, Mr. Tingle is responsible for day-to-day management of company functions and senior project management of all multi-disciplinary projects. Mr. Tingle has performed environmental work in 36 states, Puerto Rico and Cost Rica. He is an accomplished Ecologist who has performed aquatic and terrestrial studies in habitats ranging from rain forests to the near-shore continental slope. Mr. Tingle has overseen more than 2,500 projects including wetland/stream delineations, permitting and mitigation; NPDES permitting; third-party environmental inspection; NEPA documentation; endangered species surveys; and all phases of the Section 106 process including negotiations of Memoranda of Agreement and Programmatic Agreements with State Historic Preservation Offices and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation. Mr. Tingle’s Master’s Degree was awarded based on work he performed at Louisiana State University’s Laboratory for Wetland Soils and Sediments and the Center for Wetland Resources.

Christina M. Lovins

Ms. Lovins is a Senior Project Manager at Environment & Archaeology, LLC with 20 years of experience in wetland delineation, erosion and sediment control and environmental permitting compliance. She began her career as a field biologist, advancing into a business role of senior project management, and thus can grasp an overall awareness of a project objective and its ramifications from the field to the reviewing agency’s office. Currently, her primary responsibilities include managing and conducting environmental permit preparation, agency consultation/coordination, site specific Erosion and Sediment Control Plan preparation, wetland and stream delineations, endangered species surveys, aquatic biology surveys, and teaming efforts for EIS and EA production. Each of the listed responsibilities have been implemented on hundreds of miles of linear corridors and hundreds of acres of private and commercial parcel developments. Ms. Lovins’ years in the consulting business have resulted in a well-rounded knowledge of our natural resources, effective management of those resources as coordinated with the jurisdicational agencies, and how to effectively navigate the permit processes to achieve the most mutually desirable end result for the applicant and the environment.
Ms. Lovins’ management responsibilities cater to the preparation of federal, state and local-level permits and clearances pertaining to 404/401 permitting, NPDES permitting, and state-level stream and wetland permitting. Sharon R. Brown

Ms. Brown is a Senior Project Manager at Environment & Archaeology, LLC where she has worked since April 2001. Ms. Brown’s primary responsibilities include proposal preparation, field survey coordination, client communications, environmental permit preparation, agency consultation/ coordination, EIS and EA production and support, FERC Section 7 Report preparation, as well as oversight of biotic studies including wetland delineations, stream assessments, and post-construction monitoring. Ms. Brown’s background includes over thirteen years of consulting experience in the Eastern, Southern, and Midwestern regions of the United States.

Jenny Sunday

Ms. Sunday is a Project Manager at Environment & Archaeology, LLC. Ms.Sunday began her career as a Biologist at Environment & Archaeology, LLC after receiving her MS in Natural Resource Management. Formerly a GIS Manager in addition to her primary Biologist title, Ms. Sunday also maintains GIS management responsibilities. Her experience includes environmental report, permit, and agency consultation preparation, site-specific erosion and sedimentation control plans, oversight of project mapping, and wetland and stream delineations. Ms. Sunday manages commercial and natural gas industry projects, ensuring environmental permitting compliance on the federal, state, and local level. Project management responsibilities include proposal preparation, field survey coordination, client communications, agency coordination, and oversight of biotic studies including wetland delineations, stream assessments, and post-construction monitoring.

Andrea D. Crider, MA, RPA

Ms. Crider is responsible for the implementation and execution of archaeological research projects. She plans and conducts surveys and excavations of prehistoric and historic sites and is responsible for the preparation of technical reports and proposals for cultural resource management projects throughout the southeast, northeast, midwest, and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. She also oversees the function of the archaeology laboratory including material analysis and curation procedures. Ms. Crider has served as Principal Investigator for Environment & Archaeology, LLC for the past seven years.

Luke W. Erickson, M.A., RPA

Mr. Erickson’s responsibilities range from client/project management to field survey and technical report writing. A graduate, in 1997, from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois, with a BA in Anthropology, Mr. Erickson received his MA in Anthropology from Eastern New Mexico University, Portales, New Mexico in 2002 and became a Registered Professional Archaeologist in 2002. In 2014, Mr. Erickson received a certification in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Northern Kentucky University, Highland Heights, Kentucky. Certified as a Principal Investigator in the states of Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana and New York, Mr. Erickson is responsible for implementing and seeing through to completion, cultural resource investigations for a wide variety of projects such as cellular towers, natural gas pipelines and well pads, historic structure assessments, and cemetery recordation.

Responsible for the analysis of artifacts in the archaeology lab and also collates information from literature reviews, client data, research, and analysis in order to reach conclusions and recommendations after archaeological surveys. This information is then compiled into reports for the client and local SHPOs. Preparation of site forms for submittal and the analysis of artifacts and the production of reports for both large and small scale historic and prehistoric sites in the Southeast, Northeast, and Midwest. Confirmed by the Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi SHPO’s as meeting the Secretary of the Interior’s guidelines for acting as Principal Investigator. Also adept in ArcGIS and has become one of the primary processors of GIS data from archaeological field projects.

Mr. Whitlatch is the Senior Archaeological Field Director at Environment & Archaeology, LLC where he has worked since 1997. Mr. Whitlatch’s responsibilities include a multitude of duties including but not limited to the field survey coordination of Phase I, II, cultural surveys, Phase III data recovery project field operations, hiring and managing the archaeology technicians and field logistics, environmental inspector for on-going and/or completed construction projects, wetland and river restoration project prebuild and post build field survey data collection. He has performed post construction right-of-way restoration field operations, assisting with geomorphological field data collections, lead on surveys with several types of total station and GPS systems, assisting biologists with wetland and stream delineations, assisted biologists with endangered species surveys, third-party teaching construction crews environmental and cultural training. Mr. Whitlatch’s background includes over twenty-five years of cultural and environmental consulting field experience in the Eastern, Southern, and Midwestern regions of the United States on over a thousand widely varied projects.

Field Biologist: Responsibilities include the conduction of on-site wetland and stream delineations in accordance with ACOE and State EPA regulatory body guidelines, which include the identification and recording of plant and animal species, soils, hydrology, threatened/endangered species habitats, and invasive plant and animal species. GPS and photographic data are also collected as well as the logging of data onto ACOE and State site forms.
Field Director: Responsible for the implementation of approved Phase I and Phase II archaeological surveys as needed per Federal and State guidelines in accordance with the NHPA (Section 106 Review), the management and direction of other archaeologists, determination of specific site sampling methods, artifact recovery and cataloging, GPS and photographic data collection, soils analysis, and conducting background research at State Historic Preservation Offices prior to field surveys. Primary responsibilities include conducting wetland delineations, stream assessments, and habitat assessments, as well as preparation of reports, threatened and endangered species consultations, Section 401/404 environmental permits, and NPDES erosion and sediment control plans. Specialties within the company include conducting botanical surveys for threatened and endangered species and acoustic monitoring.

Mr. Brooks has over 10 years of experience in 3rd Party Environmental Inspection on natural gas facilities and has been with Environment & Archaeology, LLC since 1997. Mr. Brooks works in close relationships with the on-site project managers, other inspectors, and contractors during construction projects, guiding them in accordance to approved Site-Specific Stormwater Protection Plans, NPDES permits and plans, Federal, State, and County environmental permits, and the direction of construction and repairs to environmental protection structures built during construction projects. Daily notes, photos, and reports are generated to record the strict adherence to the related environmental permits and plan parameters for the construction project.
